E选项是独立主格结构，GMAT很喜欢考的~
ABD都有being，排除；C项there be 句型放在这里不合适，也只能选E了~

谢谢您，请问being排除法可以通用吗，依稀记得个别的题目可能还是会选到being，所以刚开始我选的B~ -_-|||

白用语法笔记中说的是：
在GMAT中关于being的以下使用必然错:1) being + n. 2) being + adj. 3) as being + n./adj./v-ing,因为在以上表达中being属于多余。
换而言之，如果句子中being不是多余的话，必须要的话，还是不能判错的。
我个人觉得，千万不要在GMAT语法中有思维定势，认为什么一定是对的什么一定是错的，记住GMAT考的是句子的简洁、清楚、有意义才是关键~~
