I think both “four times more likely than othergraduates to do” and “four times as likely as other graduates to do” arecorrect. The test point here is “be likely to do sth” rather than “be likely indoing sth”.
查了一下老美的网站,所有的人都同意C
The key in this sentence is to notice that minority graduates are more likely to plan not to practice....
&for the use of correct idiom as likely as
I vote for C, two key points:
1. An expression of A is some times of B:
...times +as + adj/adv + as ...
A be more likely than B to do sth
2. be likely to do sth
another one vote for C
Be likely to do is better than be likely in doing
还有一个小问题,GMAT语法中不是有一个原则是遵从原句的意思吗?如果按照A的表述,graduateA的人数是graduateB的人数的四倍多,可是如果选C,意思就变成正好四倍。不是违反了该原则?
