correct. The test point here is “be likely to do sth” rather than “be likely in

还有一个小问题，GMAT语法中不是有一个原则是遵从原句的意思吗？如果按照A的表述，graduateA的人数是graduateB的人数的四倍多，可是如果选C，意思就变成正好四倍。不是违反了该原则？

ls的,好像张道真语法上有说:

five times as...as 和 five times more/greater than...是表达相同的数量概念的.这是英语国家的语言习惯,不能用中文硬翻理解.

张道真语法 P384/页尾注释

所以楼上的担心more than 改成as...as就是改变原句意思,是大可不必的.这也说明了as..as,more than这里不是考点,be likely to才是考点.
