What is the greatest value of the probability that events A and B both not occur?

我的答案是0.4*0.5=0.2 ，但是答案给的是0.4 ，不明白啊，是不是和the greatest value有关？还是答案错了？

没说A,B相互独立呢，所以你的0.4*0.5=0.2 是错的，当B在A里面时， A and B 都不发生的概率最大，应该是这样的吧？

我也考虑过,加入A-B是相关联，假如A不发生B一定不发生那么概率为0.4，反过来如果由B-A，B不发生A也不发生，那么概率为0.5，这个是最大值啊和答案也不一样

也就是说，如果B属于A，也就是说B的情况完全被A所包含的话，就是可以THE GRATEST了，也就是0.4, 1-0。6=0.4

不知道怎么表达。。。对不起啦。。。。
