終於完結今天的campus interview. Extremely competitive !!!!

我報的課程是executive mba, 年資至少七年以上. 在最後一輪申請前交了申請表, 隔天便回覆到campus interview. 交表前問了adcom, 說emba會收50至60名學生, 上一介有48名 (沒有記錯的話).

到了今天, 八時半會見jennifier, 說了一陣閒話, 她說已收了36位學生, 即是說最多只會收24名學生

, 她又說她們每天interview 10名學生, 分早午兩輪, 會interview 10天, 即是說大概會見100名學生. so the probability is around 25% at that admission stage. 她再說interview完結後, 會shortlist學生, 然後再比較已收了學生的背景, 如有相同, 便很大機會不consider. (噢, so the early you apply the higher chance u get admitted 囉)

至於我今天遇到的interviewees, 是超有實力的. 認識了兩位, over 20yrs of experience!! One is the CIO of a bank, the other one is a partner of big 4. Wow!!!! 這太猛了吧..................

而我還有點希望的事, 是見Rochen Runde, 所以不太難, 只是再最後他了句英文, 我聽不清, 他說的是一種運動, er........我便說我不知道, 然後我請他在電腦上show給我看, 這不太好, (只怪自己英文不好吧), 但我想, 總括他是滿意我的motivation and passion in my industry. 他問的是'無定向'問題, 可能是我的career是關於architectural的東西吧.

然後便是lunch, lunch with simon, the other course director? (小心唷, 我最後才知他是決定誰啊!!! oh my god)

lunch 時表現不好, 因為還有其他interviewees在場, 最少有16年工作經驗 (無語). 話題, 原本是關於mba course的, 但不久便轉到他們的專長話題-----decision making level work!!!! another OMG again...............

下星期五便有通知, 所以神啊, 請給我希望!!!!

總結:

cambridge EMBA果然很猛. 只怪自己未夠level吧!!!

但如現在報Full time 的話, 好像會有很多conflicts in application............don't know what to do........

希望你拿到offer，如果是emba，那么你是based在英国或者欧洲吗？一个月飞一次的哦。

我是在英國的, 所以也要一個月坐一次火車, 這已經很幸福了. 不過, 可以每月飞一次, 聽起來感覺還不錯的

pursue搬到伦敦了？毕业后会留在uk，还是美国，或者回国？？
