这个题目的答案是（E）
句子结构是while somebody do ....,others do....,and others are doing...
While somebody do....是状语从句，那么主干结构就是others do....， and others are doing....这样用and连接的两个句子是不是不平行？？

再看答案（C），的确for decreasing 不如 to decrease更好，但是至少句子是平行的。

为什么选E不选C？？

第一个because后是do形式，第二个because后是doing形式，请问这没有违反“平行原则”吗？
