想读PHD做高校老师~大家给点建议在哪里读呢？

背景介绍下先~
      lz国内财经类院校就读~11毕业，已决定去美国100多学校读MSA（GT不高的后果啊）……

      因为项目时间不长1年半左右，所以决定先考虑读完后的去处（这样有利于我Master读的时候有重点）~

      想回大陆或者是香港的高校做老师，所以要先读个PHD了~不知道是在北美读个PHD回来呢？还是回香港或者是新加坡等地方读呢？不直接决定在美国读PHD是因为怕自己背景不够啊~到时候   申不到好学校的PHD项目，那这样的话，是不是用美国的Master申香港的会好一些呢？真诚求解啊~

You dont need a phd to be a teacher in HK. If you are from Mainland, you can teach Madarine although your degree is a business. It is what my student is doing. Grad with accounting degree and become a Madarine teacher, but in elementary school (pay for elementary school and high school is not much better in HK). Think about it

感觉在国内认可度：
美国top50>hkust,cuhk>top51-100>HKU,CITYU,POLYU>TOP150>其他hk学校>=国内学校…………

具体读top50的phd一般有机会去hkust，cuhk之类任教；

读hkust或者top100的可以去cityu之类任教……以此类推~

But waht I want is to be a teacher in the college or university. So to this point, I think I have to get a PHD degree first. Do you agree with me?

I see. I misunderstood that you mean a high school teacher. If you want to be a university teacher such as assistant professor, you definitely need a PhD. HK is so weird. HK universities like people to grad abroad such as US, Canada, Australia and UK. If you grad in universities in HK, you hardly get a position as an assistant professor, but you may become a lecturer, but it is not worth doing in my opinion (study a PhD for a lecturer position).

Yeah~I definitely agree with you! So the best choice for me is to get a PHD in USA if I want to work as a teacher in HK.
BTW, how about the mainland? Do you know the school in mainland?

这样啊~可是我们学校就算只是个辅导员的工资福利加起来都不少呢。呵呵，总不会让我活不下吧~我主要是想做这一行了~
