我也在美国，我怎么就从来没听说过所谓berkeley是top 5这一说？倒是人家听到IVY都是两眼放光。。。

额 我在洛杉矶 我个人认为伯克利现在的实力绝对超群 只是本科相对弱一点 因为规模比较大 但是研究生院，伯克利已经是美国第一了

I concur.  eople only get a brand name with their undergrad, (maybe) mba, or phd.


A 1 - 1.5 year long master program does not suffice.

point is....international placement is so different from domestic one....so no point talking abt job future between those two schools...you just pick one that you think you will enjoy more

For Phd, brand name is not that important. Paper and advisor are the keys
