贴一篇R写的作文。我的作文怎么办呀怎么办~~ Contrary to the stated view that 'international leadership and worldwide cooperation are essential to protect the world's energy resources for future generations,' in my opinion, reaching a meaningful international agreement for conserving energy is too difficult to achieve and, instead, countries should pursue energy conservation to the extent that it serves their own interests. As we have seen at the large gatherings of nations to discuss global climate change at Kyoto, Copenhagen, and elsewhere, for the most part, countries disagree about how to conserve energy or reduce greenhouse gases and about fair metrics for each country to meet the goals of an agreement. So-called 'developed' countries think less advanced 'developing' countries aren't doing enough to conserve energy as their economies fuel rapid growth, and likewise, the developing countries think the developed-economy countries should make up for the energy resources they've consumed in their development with some kind of goodwill gesture to curtail their future energy use, though it would severely crimp the standard of living they've come to expect, or that the developed countries should not complain about developing countries' rampant use of energy since the developed countries did the same in their early developing years.
As the world's fossil fuel sources become less economical to extract, in my opinion, countries should pursue energy efficiency technologies and alternative sources of energy to the extent that their economies can subsidize research and development; and the World Trade Organization should ensure that each country's economy is open for other countries to export their new energy technologies without protectionism and other global trade shenanigans getting in the way of progress. Let the best technologies for conserving energy and promoting alternative energy sources win.
