1. cuisine不可数名词

2. 是跟其它的鸟类比较，而不是跟其他鸟类的sharp version比较，下面划线的才是比较句部分

The word 'cuisine' can either be a countable or a non-countalbe noun. Pls find the following example:

The tomato (is) an integral part (of many) regional cuisines, and it (was) popular since (the) 1600's.

Any other ideas?

should not use past tense (WAS), should be present perfect tense.( HAS BEEN).that is indicated from SINCE. do u agree with me?
