Baruch宣传疑点考究。

ok im really not trying to argue with you or anything but just wanted to comment on your reasoning again...

take fall 08 admits for example: the last table you posted are *not* for their full time graduates. they are labelled on Baruch's website as "First Year Starting Salary for graduates with *no relevant work experience*"  meaning 22 students that are listed in the table for Dec 09-May 10 graduates are simply a portion of their full time students that had absolutely no relevant work experience.  By that definition, it simply implies that the other 6 (28-22) full time students had prior industry experience before attending MFE at Baruch and they were excluded from the last table.

我是之前发columbia VS baruch 的同学，虽然目前偏向于columbia，但是以我对这两个项目的了解来说，baruch的项目是绝对可以拿来和columbia作比较的。只能说各有利弊，而不能一锤子砸死，毕竟进了项目之后更重要的还是看你自己。而且我们不是在神化baruch，如果我没有足够的了解也不会随便把这两个项目放在一起比较。

不管怎么说LZ有时候都略有些武断。

别说英语了，这都是中国人。第1个薪水表的人数比fulltime人数多。显然并非你所说的，第一张表是fulltime，照你的正确的解释是第一张表是fulltime+partime吧。你别告诉是fulltime都找到了同时part time只找到了1-2个人?

and no im working full time right now. just applying for mfe this year but still dunno where i will go yet. we will see

the reason the first salary table has larger numbers in the graduate column than the second table is because that includes EVERYBODY that graduated in that time period, i.e. full time students that started the program 1 year ago, part time students that started the program most likely 2 years ago (since it takes longer to finish when you are part time)

没一锤子打死吧。我觉得认为自己需要靠推荐才能找到工作的人我也推荐区Baruch。我承认Baruch项目也不错。只是我比较受不了一堆在那边读书的学生，来国内论坛忽悠人。

also, like I said earlier, part time students do not need to seek employment right after completing the program... because they are already working full time. they will probably wanna switch jobs later as they have enhanced their skill set through the program but it makes sense that they will take some time to do that, as opposed to full time students who usually are desperate to find a job right away

disclaimer: I am not a baruch student.  Im only commenting on this thread because I don't want people to take your interpretation of those stats for what they really mean

they should make their own judgement, like you said above too.

LZ,Baruch在读中国人可能和MIT在读数量差不多吧，没几个的，什么叫一堆不明白。。。。
真正唱高baruch的是很多申请者在对比各个项目之后对这个项目的惊讶，一个排名不靠谱的学校有如此好的项目和就业，这和国人的排名论有出入，所以反而觉得baruch更好了。。。。。
要说忽悠，偶觉得在国外的同学答疑没几个在忽悠，只是尽量说自己项目的优势罢了，LZ心胸未必也太狭窄了
