Got an informal rejection letter from one professor I contacted before. They are choosing 3 out of 90 applicants.... The school is not highly ranked; however, they do have very good professors in the fields I am interested in.

which fields do u prefer? rumor goes that academic reputation of gwu not that good, but a not bad uni for job oriented master program......
asset pricing/risk mgmt, etc...yes, i think u are right. compared to academic reputation, they have better reputation in research institutions. but still, I just like them..lol
