我最近太焦虑了.....
我搜了一下关键字，结果是这样的。
去年mfe只要极为少数的人收到interview。
但msor都给了一模一样的邮件，interview的问题是：
A student who got interviewed today was asked just 3 simple questions

Is he interested in the OR program?
Has he applied to other schools?
How he plans to finance the program?

Looks like once these questions are answered satisfactorily, these applications will be added to the MSOR application pool.

The same is confirmed by 3 other applicants on a Chinese forum. Two of them commented "Each call took less than 5 minutes"; "The interviewers were European and Chinese girls, and they sounded more nervous than those on the other side of the phones." I think they are probably the interns, and  Andy was absolutely right about the interviews. It's a buyer's market.

再参考拿到interview的同学们的bg，都是nn，因此可能会是他们拿了太多offer，哥大试探他们最终去不去的可能。

There are several people reported the same thing on our Tracker. New procedure they do this year. More or less to gauge your interest in joining the program so they can estimate the number of people they admit. They did this the same thing last year to MSOR applicants.

Please add your timelines on our Tracker

The same group of admission people will interview you. It's in the IOER dept after all.

1. Are you interested in being considered for admission to the OR(maybe FE here for your guys) program?
2. Have you applied elsewhere.If accepted to Columbia, what will be your priority with respect to accepting the place at Columbia?
3.Source of funding for your course at Columbia?
