It depends on the program. Some schools (like HBS and Stanford especially) are increasingly open to younger candidates with no work experience. Some programs, such as Cornell for example, still prefer people with SOME work experience. If you think that you can craft a compelling application without any work experience, and if the school has told you that they are open to such apps, then you should GO for it! We work with many candidates with no work experience every year, and we have had great success. Hope this helps!
