想請問大家
今年UIUC PS的題目真的是這樣嗎....
Personal StatementThe personal statement is your opportunity to discuss why you would like to earn an MBA from Illinois. There is no set formula for what to write, but here are a few general tips:

• Be original-Write about how the Illinois MBA can help you achieve your professional goals by discussing your current and previous employment opportunities, life goals, etc. This is an opportunity for you to tell your story. Try to differentiate yourself from the other applicants by telling a unique story.
  
• Research the Illinois MBA and incorporate an understanding of the core values of the program into your personal statement. For example, teamwork, leadership and interpersonal skills are critical success factors at Illinois. When telling your story, try to incorporate examples of how you possess these skills into your personal statement.
  
• Spelling and grammar are very important as writing is a critical component of any MBA program. Be sure to double-check your statement prior to submission.
  

Additional EssayIf you feel there are any parts of your application that are weak or need explanation we invite you to write an additional statement addressing these issues.
完全沒有specific的題目跟字數
我目前已經寫了一千多字了(about why MBA and Why UIUC)
希望我不是寫錯題目方向才好!!

如果真的是這樣的題目  大家是否有建議的文章字數?

be up to three pages double-spaced;
contain a description of your relevant education, work experience, and volunteer activities;
outline your future professional goals;
explain why you believe the ILLINOIS MBA can help you achieve your professional goals; and
indicate what your personal contribution to the ILLINOIS MBA will be.

是这样的.　在那个virtual　infosession里Ben有说到.　就是讲讲education(少),career&achievement, 3why&how UIUC can help u, contribution四大点咯.　字数1000好少要写好多东西..　反正觉得越少字数越难写.又要具体例子又要总结..　我很纠结这个.还不如给个题目的essay好写.

你好 我也是申请UIUC的MBA。 刚刚提交了申请，essay是改了5，6 次了。也请教了很多在国外读MBA的朋友，包括2个在consulting firm 做高管的老外朋友， 他们一个共同的观点就是千万别写太多。500-1000字就够了，最重要就是答到点子上，写太多容易跑题不说，看essay的那个人也会很快失去耐性的。如果发现有什么错误或不顺眼的地方，很可能就把你的essay扔了。 所以我个人认为 简单明了的essay最好

樓主似乎是寫太多了  
早上跟我UIUC校友的姑姑通過電話被評得一無是處
(寫太多真的很容易會有廢話)
