Hi, Frank. I know some friends who are applying for MBA are using your company's service, which seems beyond their expectations. That's good... You know, i am from real estate background. The 2 essays for Sloan is something related to the real estate, the rest one is about the community contribution. For the Coverletter, Do you think i need to not only focus on the impact on the club if it works but also emphasize Why sloan fit me? Thanks for your suggestions! By the way, will sloan criticize the applicants undergraduate GPA very much even if he/she has obtained master degree with 4 years working experiences? My GPA is quite low, nearly 2.9. -.-
Hey there—as you may know, I come from a real estate background. So we see things in terms of real estate. Let me describe how I see the answer to your question. In the application, you have very limited real estate. So…why would you want to cover the same information in your cover letter, as you would in your essays? Make every essay count—take fuuuull advantage of every essay by showing different aspects of yourself. That’s your best bet, for sure. Jon Frank -- by 会员 JonFrank (2010/12/28 21:42:15)

Hey there—so glad that your friends have had some success with us! We are passionate about our work that’s for sure. The answer is that yes, you should talk about Sloan—even if only for a sentence or two in the cover letter. After all, if you were applying for a job, part of your letter would have to do with the company you were applying for. Even just two sentences would be fine—but you DO need to address I t. and with a GPA of 2.9, I would recommend addressing it briefly, even if only in 2 sentences or so, in an optional essay.
