Does a corporation’s focus on social responsibility enhance or diminish the bottom line?
请问这道题是什么意思啊，具体怎么入题啊。。这个bottom line我不知道是翻译成账本底线还是就是底限。。。希望牛人指教。。

账本底线

For example, a big corporation like NIKE was accused of contracting sweatshops which forced teenage workers to perform hard labor.  On the one hand, these sweatshops were much cheaper in terms of cost to NIKE than other contractors. On the other hand, some consumers started boycotting NIKE's products becasuse of what they perceived as human right violations when NIKE indirectly encouraged child labor.  As a result, NIKE's bottom line and its image took a hit. Eventually NIKE cancelled its contracts to these type of child labor sweatshops. In addition, NIKE included human rights issues in its new contract terms.  Its profit went up again.
