36. Dressed as a man and using the name robert shurtleff, Deborah Sampson, the first woman to draw a soldier's pension, joined the Continential Army in 1782 at the age of 22, was injured three times, and was discharged in 1783 because she had become too ill to serve. A) see above underlined sentence. C) 22 and was injured three times, and discharged in 1783, being 主要是A和C的纠结。我觉得C也对啊,但是OG的解释是discharge应该是被动态,用was discharged 才行,难道was injured里的was不可以共用吗? 求大牛的指点! -- by 会员 uniquenellie (2010/12/11 16:47:19)
我不是大牛,但是我觉得这句话的意思是Joined ,was injured , was discharged三个动作并列,and 在was discharged前表明是并列的前三个词,但是若理解为后一个was可以省略则仅强调并列了后两个动作。C的形式则变成了 A and B1 and B2 ,这里把B1 B2放在一起与 A 并列,改变了原句的意思。个人意见,不知道对不对~~还请指正~~呵呵 |
