For those who choose D, please tell me how can company cope with the problem of forecasting demand based on the last sentence of the paragraph?

If you read the last sentence, it only describes an example of the problem without proposing any solution thereto. That definitely is not the way to ADDRESS difficulties.

今天早上又把文章和选项看了一遍，现在更倾向于D :-)

1）D说的是provide an example, 和划线句子呼应，而C说illustrate an assertion, 所以觉得D稍好一点

2) C说到ability,感觉ability这个词很重，因为文章中只说到with some certainty，所以倾向选D

但是不能把句子拆成单词选答案啊~要看意思~..
D说的是举一个例子,这个例子是关于公司如何解决需求预测的困难的.但是最后一句话说的是公司实际没法解决这个具体的预测..
而C说的是举例说明一个关于公司预测需求能力的断言.
我们再回到最后一句话.for example开头，说明后面这个例子是为了说明文中前面一句话的。而前面一句话，则是相当肯定的一个陈述，说“公司也许可以对总需求做出准确的预测，但是却无法预测其中具体的需求”，这更像是一个断言。
所以我觉得C更靠谱.
悲剧了.看样子即使是原文的答案也不靠谱啊..考场上还是得自己来

Answer is C,

The statement before the last sentence does not say how the company addresses the issue, it just states that there is an issue


D suggests that the statement actually has an example of how the company addresses the uncertainties.
