我当时没选D的思路是creating 就近修饰stocks,  因为是120 billions 才导致 bubble， 所以stock不能create。。。请大牛们帮助。
小弟3天以后就2战了。。紧张。。。。。。

首先第一个。先行词是town，那么肯定用where，修饰前面这个先行词。你说的状语从句可以修饰整个句子。

第2个。 it is estimate that 后面很少加there be。因为在gmat 中，there be 被认为是有歧义的，因为there be 句型 没有句子的施动者。  另外，creating， 分词短语表伴随。

按XDF的说法，which出现前边必有逗号，并且which只能指代前边那个词，而不是整句话。 the electorate functionally illiterate这个结构说不通

as having poured结构冗余, that there was结构更加冗余。  creating后表示伴随的功能结果

我有点糊涂了。。。对于which 和 where 更加迷惘。。。。

which 作为一个引导词的作用就是作为后面从句的主语，也就是说后面从句中的成分只能包括谓语和宾语；而where相当于引导了一个完整的句子，也就是说后面从句的应该是要主谓宾齐全的

前面是town，地点，肯定用where，如果用which表示地点的话前面要加in的。
