谢谢大家的建议... 我现在的情况又变了...

我现在是大三， 准备明年6月做一个SUMMER INTERNSHIP, 然后9月开始读MASTER....  

我给JPM 的HR 说了一下我的情况.. 告诉她我过几天再给她答复...
她特别NICE地告诉我可以帮我TRANSFER到AUTUMN INTERNSHIP（就是2011年秋天开始的INTERNSHIP, 也是12周）， 但是这样的话我就不能读MASTER了....  因为和MASTER的时间重叠...

我个人是倾向于做JPM 的INTERN的..毕竟读书也是为了工作... 多点经验对以后也是好的...  这样也增加了被CONVERT成FULL TIME的几率
但是父母一直想让我继续读个MASTER.. 说以后回国发展想升职的话学历还是很重要的...    

那我是应该放弃JPM 的INTERNSHIP还是放弃MASTER呢？ （我现在还没开始申MASTER， 在准备中....) 或者有没有其他OPTION?

You should definitely choose JPM.
JPM is in a better position at the laste league table for 2010 both DCM and ECM. Citi are facing troubles esp. with huge obligation to US government.

Why master? Work for 2-3 years, then apply for MBA sounds like a better option to me.

Also, some of my friends who got laid off from IB is now studying for masters and applying for full time again. I am not suggesting that you will get laid off soon, but for some people, studying for a master degree is actually one of their many exit strategies.

PS: Wait, if JPM's internship starts in Autumn, then potentially you can have two internships back to back.

nevertheless, both should be good choice when it comes to ft recruitment. and it is important to like the people you are going to spend long hours working with. it makes your life much easier after you are in the office for 12+ hours
