不知道你说的是不是 OG107 也是 a technique 同位前面的名词，再加定语从句进一步修饰。看来的确是一个常用的表达，也许写作里也可以用上

hmm 我见过这题在蓝色的Verbal上第一次我也做错
这里findings 做名词, 同位语, refers back to the scientists' observation, 是一个noun + adj 的独立主格结构

同位语不仅是优先于which，还有很多其其他的情况，比如过去分词修饰会造成歧义什么的，比如说OG38 53题（不好意思懒得敲了，麻烦Jimmyzhang自己翻下书吧）
然后关于优先于which OG103就是很典型的一道还有就是OG118 63（AB） 83

理论上来说为什么which不好是因为有时候主句很长，往往会包含很多的名词，这样就会造成which指代的模糊，所以同位语更好，只要逻辑上木有问题就是同位语啦~~我觉得GMAC超级偏爱同位语==
当然在选择同位语的时候还要看主句是不是有谓语的，比如OG104。
嗯，大概的就是这样吧，我的语法也不是很好，不过希望对你能有帮助
