So did you mean that the expression of "cooperative and organized society consisting..." is still a parallel structure? But this sentence might be the only one I saw on the OG12 to be said as a "parallelism" with a seemingly unparallel structure. I still think the two adjectives "cooperative" and "organized" are parallel but doubt about the parallelism among the three (cooperative, organized, consisting...).

关于... A, A that... . 是一个在英文里常用的表达，我感觉这是英文的一种习惯。有些科普类视频中也会用到这样的句子。
这个是个同位结构
其次我觉得是不是要考虑到不仅仅是语法平行还有一层逻辑平行的概念呢？虽然说表面上看 前两个是adj 后面是分词做定语 但是A中错用关系副词来修饰society会造成逻辑上的错误，也可以理解成逻辑上的不平行 因为consist的用法在A中式unidiomatic

I have two questions:
1. 如果把A变成 wasps living in a highly cooperative and organized society consisting almost entirely of, 其他4个选项不变，这项能选吗？
2. parallelism可以指除了grammar以外（比如逻辑上）的平行吗？

我都不是很清楚。。。

A中的they指代是wasps。为什么wasps不能consist? 偏要社会consist？

" number among something" means " be included as one of a particular group( from longman online dictionary)
这句话可以替换成 Yellow jackets are included as one of the 900 or so species of the world's social wasps.其中 the 900 or so表示九百种左右 做world's social wasps 的定语
