申请mis ps毫无思路

小女本科通信工程，想申请mis的master，目前为止考试基本结束，ps毫无思路。烦请各位xdjm给点思路上的指导吧。虽然打定主意申请mis， 也查阅了mis的很多资料，但是对于学科的了解总觉得只限于表面，不知怎样用ps挖掘，让学校觉得自己适合此专业。各位同胞们给点建议吧。

PS：有没有通信工程的xdjm，一起讨论下咱专业对于mis的优势

我一直在思考我通信工程背景的优势，但是觉得除了编程方面的经历多一点，没有别的了。

大致看了一些，现在倒是知道要写哪些方面的内容。我现在纠结的其实是我本科的背景问题。我本科通信工程，学校虽然是EE的top学校，但是感觉EE与mis的交集很少，所以申请的时候学校的作用基本无。在校期间的实验也基本对申请背景没有贡献。我特别想知道通信工程相较于cs在申请mis方面有优势么。

我查的学校写出要求的不多
这个是马里兰的，比较具体
Targeted applicant essay (this is submitted instead of the Personal Statement in the Application Supplemental Form). This 500-word essay should address the following four questions:
What do you see as the most interesting and/or significant opportunities provided by the information field?
Why are you interested in the particular degree for which you are applying, and why do you wish to pursue this degree at the College of Information Studies?
What strengths would you bring to graduate study and to the information profession?
What are your career plans, and how would this degree advance them?

真不是藏着掖着，可能我的表达有问题~
             我就是不知道怎么写才能让对方觉得我的background很match

其它大多数学校就是 background, your career goals and how the program will help you achieve your goals
还有UA甚至不要求ps
