申请York Schulich后来者的提问

刚刚收到schulich发来的面试通知。下个星期初,面试官叫Carol Pattenden, Assistant Director of
Admissions。有谁见过这个人(是男是女),都爱提一些什么问题。

我的英文口语较差,所以没什么把握。加上今年只报了这一所,只有慎重加慎重。

到CD上来搜寻york/schulich,只有为数寥寥的帖子。给albertjerry发了一封求助信后再转回到论坛看看还是有不少xdjm拿到schulich入学offer的。

希望给予指教,特别是关于面试过程和注意事项的,多小都行。

We are in the same boat now. I have the interview next Wednesday with the same person. I feel very nervous about this interview. At first, I think my listening is not well, so I am worried about I could not understand he or her; but now I find my oral English is more bad than listening. That is so terrible that I could not relax myself.

不要紧张，面试官态度挺好的。问题基本上就是albertjerry贴子上的一些问题，时间30分钟左右。

我上午面试，中午就受到offer。

不看你的帖子还不知道，我的电话好像出问题了：拿起来之后什么声音都没有。太倒霉了，正在申请的时候它出了毛病，我们这个区的电话好像总是出问题，电话公司刚刚换完整区的电话线，没想到还是不解决问题。cry...

Carol Pattenden 是一个非常Nice的Lazy，年龄50岁左右，人瘦小。讲话声音比较轻。她的面试主要是看看你的个人表达能力。当然具体问什么我不太了解，但是至少最基本的那几个Why的问题应该准备一下。

I was interviewed by the same lady you guyes mentioned last month. the whole process went pretty smooth and only took 10 minutes. It might be the easiest interview I went through ever. THe interview was very conversational. In my view, the main purpose of it is to test your English level that is--whether or not you could express yourself properly in English. Those questions were pretty normal. Don't waste too much of your time on any single question. 3-5 sentences should be enough. Be prepared to ask her a couple of questions. Good luck.
