The Certificate of Finances Form does not have to be submitted when you apply for the program, you can wait to see if you are recommended for admission before you submit it in order to get your I-20. However, the sooner you send it the sooner your I-20 could be sent out if you are recommended for admission to the program. You need to show that you have enough funds to cover tuition and fees, living expenses, and books/insurance for your first year of study. For the MSF program this is at least $67,020.00. It would be fine for this to be in a savings account. You just need to show a bank statement or a letter from the bank stating how much is in the account.
