关于Kellogg Essay3

看到一篇essay 3的sample,作者先从adcom的角度写了几个对于profile的疑问，下面再一一去解释为什么会这样，最后举了几个优点然后strongly recomm。
我认为这样会不会写成optional essay了。虽然要以比较谦虚地语气去写，但也不至于一上来就把缺点提出来，本来别人adcom都没有注意到，这样一来反而被别人抓住了，越描越黑感觉不太好，大家以为呢

如果你觉得那个方式适合你，就这么些。
如果你自己越描越黑，就不要这么写了。
这种文章没有固定的模式，如果千篇一律，adcom岂不是读起来的时候要发疯？

Hmm, this is a strange approach.  After all, why talk about NEGATIVE aspects of your application if instead, you could talk about POSITIVE aspects?  No need here to focus on anything negative at all.  Instead, this is your chance for the applicant to show other neat aspects of the application that you haven’t been able to show yet.  Other unusual stuff in your application.  And yes, ideally it would be written from the perspective of the adcom.  But why would we want to use this as a space to deal with a negative?  That’s for sure what the optional essay is for.  J

I think this is actually a contribution essay, but from the perspective of the adcom
