It really depends.  If you want to work in France, you need to speak French, especially for those brands that everybody wants to work for.  it seems that China has a lot of job opportunities for luxury brands.
Your position and salary also depends on your competence and your experience.  It also depends on the brand.  For example, if you want to work for LV, do not expect much.
