Congratulations on your decision to pursue the MBA.You’ve taken the first step and now it’s time to learn more about which MBA program might be right for you. As you consider your options, you’re probably wondering what makes Iowa different from all the others.

As a Full-time Tippie MBA student, you’ll gain a unique skill set participating in real-world corporate consulting projects, meeting and learning from top business executives who come to campus regularly, traveling to case competitions and professional conferences, and receiving personalized career development and job search assistance – and that’s just the start.See what else sets Tippie apart.

·Career Success - Whether you want to advance your career or switch to a new one, the Full-time MBA offers five academic tracks and four joint degree programs that will allow you to build depth in an area of your choosing – and with a career placement rate of 95% overall and 93% for international students, our students have choices upon graduation.

·Exceptional return on investment - Tippie Full-time MBA graduates immediately accelerate their careers and receive an average 160% salary increase three years out from graduation compared to their pre-MBA salary. Ranked 2nd in the U.S. for ROI by BusinessWeek – the Tippie Full-time MBA offers you an extraordinary return on investment.

·Financial aid available - Sixty nine percent of the international students in the Fall 2010 entering class received financial aid. Nearly, 100% of those that were awarded aid received a graduate assistantship, which reduced their tuition responsibility to resident tuition (just $17,218 per year, not including fees/books). The average international student financial aid package totaled $14,343, which left them with only a small portion of the tuition to pay out of pocket.
Add the prestige of being a BusinessWeek Top 45 MBA program, our devoted Hawkeye alumni network, and a vibrant community rich with lifelong friendships, and you have the opportunity to be part of something remarkable.

I invite you to learn more about the Tippie Program and the University of Iowa. Please feel free to ask questions of our students that will be posting to this site or visit our website at http://tippie.uiowa.edu/fulltimemba/.

Best,
Jodi

自己先顶一下。

I am a MBA student from class 2012 of Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. I would like to take any questions about the MBA program. I has benefited a lot from the Chasedream website, and now I am more than happy to contribute back.

现在因为橄榄球,整个校园都沸腾起来了!

Iowa v. Ball State football game on Sep. 25th at the Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City which can hold more than 70,000 people.

AEGON Sponsored Tailgate For MBA students this Saturday!
MBA students are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to network with people from AEGON (a global insurance company). Breakfast and beverages will be provided to MBAA members.

Some photos from a tailgate two weeks ago.

Have lunch with the richest man in the world (与巴非特共进午餐)

At this year and for the coming year, Tippie MBA students have the chance to meet with Warren Buffett, ask him questions and have lunch with him, an ooportunity some people would pay millions of dollars in charity auctions to get while it is free for us.

Some photos from this year!

By the way, Tippie MBA students convince Warren Buffett to spell out I-O-W-A with them!

To answer charlenechase' squestion:

I think there is no minimum requirement for GMAT. But there is a requirement for TOEFL. Here I copy & Paste the previous Q&A session from the admission blog:

"We accept results from either the Test of English as a Foreign language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The minimum acceptable TOEFL score is 250 (computer test), 600 (paper test), or 100 (internet-based test). The minimum acceptable IELTS score is a total score of 7.0, with no sub-score less than 6.0. All IELTS test-takers will be required to take the on-campus English Proficiency Evaluation."

Thanks for asking, charlenechase!
