in fact, the recruiting new phd is the work of department phd coordinator and dept. head. They can decide the chance you get a interview. That means the first round. Then a commette in b-school usually make a vote about making an offer. so the procedure is basically fair and transparent.  the case that a prof. make a decision on the own  is rare in B-school.

是的，这也是我很纠结的一个问题，poly的旅管不是商学院，而是自立为一个学院，如果她硬性要求GRE，那我只好望洋兴叹了。。。。

PS：其实我并不是特别想Ph.D仍然旅管，相比较而言，我更热衷商学院的Ph.D。。。。。

Poly的旅管号称亚洲第一世界领先....
转MKT估计就没这么容易吧....
