may和possible语意重复且the rising sea level强调的重心是sea level重心改变(在OG11里的the rising of moon是把rising动名词化，来强调rising动作)
C.    may include polar ice caps that are melting and sea levels that are rising
D.    include melting the polar ice caps and sea levels that are rising
E.    include melting of the polar ice caps and a rise in sea level  
a rise in符合惯语且强调rise，故rise和melting语意上更平行。省略may 简洁。melting 这里是动名词，且是泛指，与后面的a rise泛指并列

关于rise/rising，参见OG10-53，the rising of costs－unidiomatic(但我觉得这里不可以用the rising of costs是因为costs无法用rising动名词，因为cost并非一个对象可以强调动作)，但是the rising costs和the rise in costs都idiomatic，只不过重心不同
