可问题是我带个放大镜也没看到C里面有动词is，而且前面那句the more的动词是use，那么就不存在省略be动词的情况
C怎么可以对呢？

however much表程度，个人认为与may 没有构成重复，A里面保持了平行结构that...that....而其他选项里缺少这个，E里虽然有that但是失去了原句的转折语气，所以我选A

另外，宾语从句中的that不能省略，这样bcd就错了，e中还有问题是there be太多了。。。上一道题我认为the more the more 的搭配非常固定，而且后句虽然没有动词，但是念着并不是很不通顺（不好意思，太不理论了）。。。。

以前碰到过类似the more the more 省略动词的，虽然没有什么理论根据，但多次事实证明可以省，主要是其他选项都从根本上违背了固定搭配是不。。。

第二题选A吗？我觉得从意思上理解，选C更好啊？虽然美国选民认同政府存在浪费，开支过度，但却很难找到一个对将浪费最小化的举动的广泛支持。

1. the more...the more...结构中，如果是系动词的话是可以省略也可以不省略。所以C没有问题。
2. may其实跟however没有关系，may表示可能(多么同意)，however表示的是让步，所以may并不多余。
