真的很犹豫要不要三战gmat。。。

3y IB, 现在全力备战2010fall MBA申请……目标就是top10
大学里GPA不够高，本来希望能用一个比较给力的gmat成绩来弥补一下~结果考了两次全是720~
我知道essay很重要，也肯定会全力思考准备~~
但二战分数不及预期真的很影响我的计划~
如果准备三战的话，写essay赶第一轮申请的时间肯定非常紧张……也想征求一下各位牛牛的意见……

这个简直是误区啊，考720完全不用再考了啊，申请不是gmat越高就越被录取，而是过了一定的线就看其他申请package了

Hey there--we would be happy to offer up some advice for you.  At a score of 720 and given that you are from China, it will be very difficult for you to get accepted into a top ten program.  A top 20 program would be very possible--but top ten will be a stretch.  In this case, the essays will become even more important for you!  In the essays, you will want to find a way to make sure that the schools appreciate your intellectual abilities!  Focus on essays that show you to be very smart, and in that way you would be doing your best to make them see that there is more to you than just a 720 on the GMAT. By the way, there are some GREAT programs that are not in the top-ten.  For example Cornell and Yale are both Ivy League schools, and Ross, Duke, and UCLA all have GREAT reputations as well.  Good luck!

除了好的方面，还有downside risk你要考虑，鉴于你两次都720，你再考一次真的能考大于720吗？万一鬼遮眼，出个680就很恶心了，你就要多写一篇optional了，不好意思，泼点凉水，呵呵
