J Yes, you will be just fine with your 740. You will want to write an optional essay (which is quite an art form by the way…) where you will address this issue. But you will argue in that essay that you have demonstrated your determination AND your intellectual abilities. Even though you faced three setbacks, you didn’t let fear or extra work keep you from achieving all you knew you were destined to achieve. Also, the fact that you have a good GPA will help as well.
