Hi,

"hopefully" is ugly. Matter of a fact, a lot of lexicographers have argued that this usage is incorrect, so Gmat prefers "it is hoped". This is just some random knowledge that I learned in class

E) is wordy, but it does not contain any mistakes. Therefore E) wins.
