P.S. 我觉得whereas就是引导状从，形式上不用完全对等，尽量就行。

是的，只要是比较，比较对象就必须对等，一般比较都会用平行结构表示，不仅比较对象对等，前后句子的形式也会对等，是为平行结构；

但whereas比较特殊，比较对象必须对等，但句子形式不一定严格一致，但也是平行，OG12-136例句
whereas in mammals the tiny tubes that convey nutrients to bone cells are arrayed in parallel lines, in birds the tubes form a randon pattern.

比较的都是tubes，比较对象对等，前后两个句子结构上并未完全一致，没有严格平行




WhereasX,Y
whereas作为连词引导句子，X和Y不要求绝对平行，但是the more parallel they are,the better the sentence is

这题选E，A里面的指代不清的问题讨论的比较清楚了。但是E里面for marketing表目的，是不是相对的不好呢，我当时直接用这条掐掉它了。
还有，with的用法我一直比较晕，因为它表达比较模糊，我一般就从句意上推断，只要句子有强烈的逻辑关系就先降序，而且句末的独立主格一般也省略with，所以我选的时候一般都降序考虑它。
这道题A有说法是with在句首才能表伴随，我觉得不太赞同。。。
