这道题看过讨论，但从没涉及一个我将要提的很弱的问题。。。

我想说，中学好像说过英语里两个句子之间一定要有关系连接词，否则不能用逗号。那么题目中The stars are in motions, some of them at...speeds...这样的两个句子可以直接用逗号连接么，先不考虑其它因素，难道不应该是some of which at ...speeds才对吗？
可能是我基础语法有问题。。。谢谢解答。

如果不考虑E 选项的RUN-ON 问题。 some of which 在主语的位置上， 根据主对主原则， 那么some of which 指向Stars, 为何OG 解释还是说“some of which is awkward and ambiguous” 呢？

which 修饰离它最近的名词 这里是planets,其实想指stars
这就ambiguous了

如果不考虑E 选项的RUN-ON 问题。 some of which 在主语的位置上， 根据主对主原则， 那么some of which 指向Stars, 为何OG 解释还是说“some of which is awkward and ambiguous” 呢？

同意楼上，这里E选项里的which指代的是planets，而不是stars..

本人不理解的是为什么A选项说placement of modifying phrase and the comparison are awkward and ineffective.??

是说这里的some of... 独立主格作为补充说明，补充 the stars are in motion 所以要跟在motion后吗？？

我开始也在纠结A选项为什么不行。
看了你的贴研究了一阵后发现如果你先说这些星星中有一些at tremendous speeds，然后说这些星星are in motion，确实觉得奇怪。逻辑顺序上好像有些不对。
这样就好像说“高速运动中的运动员在跑”。本来应该是说“运动中的运动员跑得好快”这样。（虽然两个中文句子都awkward，大概就是这种感觉吧，不理了。。。）

插入语不是应该用两个逗号隔开，speeds后面没有跟逗号呢
