MBA Boards do not like to see candidates taking the GMAT twenty times but it is OK to retake the GMAT once or twice.

2. xxxx, former admissions board member at Harvard Business School

The fact that MBA programs 接受最高成绩 isn't license to take the GMAT half a dozen times (千万别跟那个狗学^^,开个玩笑). Two or three times is acceptable. The fifth and sixth time may be overkill.

Although the overall median GMAT of an MBA program may be 700, the median for Chinese candidates may be even higher. this means 一个中国申请人只有700 may be considered much weaker on this evaluation variable. 需要知道你是在哪一个pool里。

AWA： 要4.5以上。但没有必要5.5以上。原话： A high AWA (5.5) will rarely earn the applicant any major points. 但她说如果你低于3.5但是assay又写得很好就会让人怀疑。

某HBS校友和某Columbia校友：如果大家去学校的网站，可以看见GMAT的median和80%的一个range，如果不能高于median最好也要在80% range内。

看来考试如果感觉不好，那么取消成绩是一个应该的做法

取消成绩好像也只是当次不报告给学校，但下次再参加的时候还是会显示在成绩单上的呀
