题目意思：虽然C换骨的比普通换骨贵两倍还要多，C换骨仍然很经济。不仅仅手术和恢复时间减少了，而且C换骨更持久耐用，因此减少再度住院的需要。
C意思：与普通换骨相比，C换骨减少反复手术的程度是多大

不同意4楼看法。
题目中Not only will surgery and recovery time be reduced, but custom replacements should last longer, thereby reducing the need for further hospital stays.
由于C换骨持续时间长，所以减少再度住院的需要，二者有联系。但是LZ你说“可以避免repeat surgery”题目没有这个意思，只是减少。而且这个程度未知。
关键就在于这个程度，如果反复手术的时间还不到两个普通换骨的时间，那么这个掏二倍多价钱的C换骨就不再cost-effective了。
比如，普通换骨每次10万元，10年一换。这样花20万元用20年，一年才一万。C换骨每次21万元，15年一换（<20），这样花42万元用30年，一年一万多了。坑爹~  削弱了。

不知道有没有完全明白LZ的意思：题目中说的是reducing the need for further hospital stays，而不是eliminating，而且surgery 跟 hospital stay 是两个概念，所以要比较reducing surgery 带来的好处。再说说我错选的B，B选项是在cr使用过程中省下的钱与引进cr用的钱中比较，而题目中cost-effective是cp与ordinary replacement的比较，无关选项

我觉得他是说“生产成本的减少”已经被考虑进去了~~~ 但是生产成本不是增加了吗 ？

C中的 repeat surgery 在题目中已经提及了

原文有这样一句话： but custom replacements should last longer, thereby reducing ..说明就是再次替换手术，同C的意思。
按答案的解释应该翻译为复诊（小修小补），答案和题意不相符吧，og难免有点小瑕疵，不过对选题没有干扰就是了

我也错选了B。
看了这个解释觉得更合理。
还是要读懂原句的意思呀。把producing和introduction没读懂。

cost-effective确实应该更侧重性价比，而不是单纯的分子和分母两个因子的单独作用。
最近做了几题CR都是考这个aX+b~Y的关系中，X和Y的动态变化相关性。

C项应该更侧重在于repeat surgery意味着所有的治疗流程都要走一遍，涵盖了前面单个因子study会造成的片面性影响问题。
