the correct answer is B. but i don't see specifically why C is not right?

hi pumpkin, here is what i thought. the consequence of "He reasoned that as a member union, the Brotherhood would be in a better position to exert pressure on member unions that practiced race restrictions" is "Such restrictions were eventually found unconstitutional in 1944. "

so i think his action contributed or "influenced" the "legislation overturning race restriction in 1944". what do you think?

文中说weakened support among Balck workers。说明以前还是有Black workers支持这个Pullman-owned union。只不过，因为这个union是Pullman自己fund的，部分原来想支持这个union的Black workers因为这个原因不支持了而已。

ETS出题的思路大都是这样。这个出题点是：时间上的取反，导致内容上面也取反。
