I agree with stq. I know a lot of people apply to a U.S. business school purely because they want to live in the U.S., but personally I don't agree with that line of thinking. If you are going purely for the "experience" of living in a certain country, you are defeating the whole purpose of the degree, which is to help further you along your career path. You are really just taking a really, really expansive two-year vacation from reality. If you are young, have made a lot money, and have no other burden then you can afford it, but for most people your age, it just doesn't make sense.
And that "U.S. MBA" is worth less now days in China than it did 10-20 years ago, since so many people have it now and so many of them from top schools. So it's really hard to see what you'd gain from it, besides the experience of living here for two years, which is probably a lot less exciting than you imagine.
Don't mean to offend anyone, just my honest opinion.
