两个问题：1. A里为什么要用in less than one percent of homes?   in 在这里的意思是什么啊，不明白

2. PREP对B项的解释是第二个was在这里不能省略，说前面的was是助动词，后面的was是系动词，这是什么意思，不明白

问题1： 先看 in ......... homes, 再看less than one percent of ，你就明白了。

2. 第一个was是表存在地点，第二个was是被动语态的was。前后用法不一致，不符合省略原则。
