WHICH IS IMPORTANT? SPORTS FACILITIES OR LIBRARIES
Currently, there is a heated dispute over the topic that whether universities should give the same amount of money to their students' sports activities as they give to their university libraries. Some people hold the opinion that sports facilitises bear more importance because health is the foundation of work, while others maintain that libraries should enjoy the priority of financial aid. As far as I am concerned, I fall  into the latter category. Students' main purpose for entering a university, students' current situation of their sports activities and the possible damage for universities account for my preferrence.
To start with, it is knowledge, not some sports activities, that we want to obtain in our university time. Therefore, universities should put anything related to the students' study, of course including the improvement of libraries, top the list. In this case, it is obvious that universities should not give more money to the students' activities. Instead, more money should be given to libraries so that students can get any material easily in libraries.
In addition, it is a waste of money for universities to give the same amount of money to the sports activities as they give to labraries. Because students today, especially those in universities, have their own way to relax. For example, to surf the Internet, to date, to read novels, and the list will go on. That is to say, few students have sports activities.  Enen those who really have will choose some commercial gyms outside universitise, for these gyms can offer more professional guides and more up-dated facilities. So if universities put much money on the sports activities, one probable outcome may be that students hardly use them.
Last but not least, if universities give the same amount of money to sports activities as they do to libraries, the resources in libraries will be limited. This is not good for universities. As mentioned above, students enter universities mainly to study, to get something that can help them find a good job after graduation. If a university has poor learning materials and out-dated computers in its library, few students will choose it to further their study. This means this university will be faced with the embarrasing situation that it can not have enough students to support the university's ordinary operation and finally fall into a detrimental cycle.
To sum up, I am deeply convinced that universities should not give the same amount of money to their students' sports activities as they gve to their university libaries. It is more pivotal for universities to provide a excellent livrary, and this means giving more money to libraries. Because the students main objective for entering a university is to study and few students really use the sports facilities in their university. What's more, universitis will find that they do harm to themselves if they give their students' activities the same amount of money.

SHOULD BUSINESSES HIRE EMPLOYEES FOR THEIR ENTIRE LIVES?

Should businesses hire empolyees for their entire lives? Though some people argue thta it is quite reasonable and correct for firms to offer a life-long employment, the answer for the question above may be a definitely no. When consider this question, we must take threes factors into account. One is the company's finance situation. Another is the difference of efficiency with or without this policy. The third is the probable outcome for the whole society.

To start with, if businesses hire empolyees for their entire lives, there will be some problems with the firms' finance. To make profits is every company's main objective. However, how can a company earn a lothFrom an economic perspective, only when an employee brings much money to his/her company, the company offers a salary or bonus accouding to the employee's contribution. That is to say, when a person can not help the firm to make profits, he is no longer needed.

Furthermore, if a company actually provide this kind of employeement, it will not long before the company gets bankrupt. The reasons are very simple. Suppose a person knows that the company will never dismiss him/her regardlss of the quality of his/her work, it is very likely that he/she will not fully dedicated to the work. Or even worse, this person will be absent of work on purpose sometimes. This is a disater for the whole company.

Last but not least, a life-long empolyment policy may cause some unexpected chaos in the society. Since almost all the positions have already been occupied, there are fewer opportunities for those who have not found a company to accept them. For example, some people who just finished their college education or some people who come to the country recently will find it hard, or even impossible, to find a job. Thus, unployment rate rises. What's more, these unemployed people may feel unfair and commit crimes to get money. If true, the whole society fall into an urgent crisis.

To sum up, it is not reasonable for a company to promise not to dismiss  its employees under any circumstance. Because this activity is a strain on the company's finance. Furthermore, it causes its employee to perform casually, bringing inefficiency and doing harm to the company itself. What is most horrible is that this behavior may lead the whole society to a new one with high unemployment rate and hige crime rate.
