我问她选校建议来着，她说“This is an objective opinion from an expert:  you would be crazy to go to the other programs over Stony Brook.  They are just not that good and I have one student who graduated from XXX and is now coming here to fill in the gaps and get better training. ”

我还问到中国学生的就业情况，Ann老师说“At this time I am not aware of Chinese students graduating from our program who have to go back.  Our students are well trained and they find good placements.  Employers do not have any problems sponsoring good students for H1-B.  Our program is different from a finance program because students receive a solid foundation in mathematics and statistics in addition to the finance.  Foreign students have found placement at hedge funds, technology firms, and banks (Paloma Capital, Neuberger Berman formerly Lehman Bros., Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, etc.).”

其实我觉得只是没有人出来为石溪说话。
既然我从了石溪自然也想说它也挺好。但是我不是故意就拿来xyt怎样的。也有人从了Claremont说Claremont很好啊。自己满意自己去了之后开心就好呀。
但是我更想客观的说，真的是没有人讨论过它所以大家就不怎么知道这个项目。之前我申请它的时候也不了解。被录了也看不上它。后来有些也被录了的童鞋才告诉我一些他们之前了解到的情况。
就好像Fordham。其实之前我在国外的网站上面看到对它家的不好的评论。但是在咱们CD这里，很多人都很好评，说director真的很用心什么的。  石溪在quantnet上面也有差评。就是个人说说自己了解的情况呗
我只是想大家多了解一些情况。
