而且人家说了是QUANT工作给的薪水， 不是一般ANALYST的薪水， SENIOR ANALYST都和一般ANALYST差很多。 不过没有PHD事做不成QUANT的， 有可能原帖的人以为研究生毕业就能当QUANT?

囧， 我看清楚了啊？我没说毕业了就能120万， 我引得是他原话。。。。。然后针对他说的前半句分析了一句， 根本没提后面的120万， 汗。。。我个人没有要求挣多少， 只要做自己喜欢做的工作， 以后从NYU毕业了能早点把学费还给我爸妈就安心了。。。：）

it staff should not be able to get much information about salary of quants in us.
if you consider deductions of tax and social contributions, a basic salary in nyc or london may not be much different from that in hong kong. in beijing, i am wondering rather how many quant jobs the market offers than the amount banks pay for. you should take into account bonus as well.

ya the tax in NYC is a pain in the ass... it turns 10k into 7k... btw I think some guy in global derivative claim that fresh graduate from NYU can make 15k, that should include bonus already. For me if I can't land a job in NYC, I rather try it in Toronto bay street instead, since my boyfriend is there.
