AB都应该是同一概念。

B选项更像一个句子，变成了名字和句子的比较，不符合比较的结构。

记得好像比较的话 助动词是可以省略的...

看到这么一段话：“如果主句的主语谓语和从句的主语谓语相同，那就是宾语的比较，从句中的主语谓语可以省略”

LZ这题给的句子比较的主语谓语都相同，都是the growth of econ was, 所以可以省略的
原句划线部分和B选项都是只省略了主语部分 没有省略谓语 造成前后比较对象不对称
