I definitely agree with you, Ziye. I am the friend that Guoyuhua is talking about, but I don't want to pull you into the wrong direction. I don't like the Advertising major at MSU not because it sucks but because it's not a good fit for my personality. I don't mean to tell you that accounting is better than marketing. Your table all points you to marketing, but i don't really see why you want to do accounting(maybe bc I influenced you?)
I am now working in marketing department in a company in Silicon Valley. Whether you find a job today in US not only depends on your knowledge, but your luck, your personality. But no matter what you do-accounting or marketing, it is extremely hard to stay in US these days. If that's your plan and that's what you want, then maybe you should rethink about your decision of studying in US.

It is the best school in Dallas-fort worth area! well known in Texas....though it is not that famous national wide.....

当然选SMU。

1. 这年头，会计怎么都比MKT好找工作。而且美国这边的MKT研究生项目都是以research和data collection为主，如果没有强硬的工作经验和英文口语能力，国际生很难找到工作。

2. Rochester是以Finance闻名，但是那是PHD项目，跟MSF木有一点关系。

3.你完全忽视了SMU在dallas的地位。我dallas的朋友告诉我，SMU商学院的硕士和MBA项目，基本上云集了dallas各大企业的network。去那里读书的都是有钱人，机遇多着。

在CD上看到讨论关于MKT信息的真的很少，因为男友8月要去MSU,之前一直对MSU不怎么了解，最近就在关注MSu。
刚才看到你的留言，突然看到了自己最近在关注的两个关键词:西北的IMC,和MSU相关AD和MKT的专业，而且很认同你的逻辑，大家讨论MKT觉得不好找工作，那是相对于cd上惯以金融为王道的专业相比，应为毕竟需求量和适用性更强。但真正喜欢MKT的，自身在语言上又可以补足短板，学校在相对区域内的名校还是都有机会的。
希望你能帮我介绍下更多关于mKT的信息吧

其实roche的acc也不靠谱，但是SMU在当地的确声誉很好，而且校友的network也不容忽视啊
