题目是08.11.8的北美写作题Some athletes and famous entertainers earna ton of money. Do you think they should be paid such high salaries?
When it comes to the problem, the public isstuck to a choice dilemma, the answer being verified. Many people think thatthe athletesand famous entertainers should not earn so much money, while othershold a totally different view on this issue.

As far as I am concerned, I agree thatthose people should earn so much money, considering the work load, the privacyand the pressure of their work.

To begin with, those people's workload is sohigh that we can never imagine. Taking the athletes for instance, we know that mostathletes, especially the Olympic ones, must take a fast-paced and high-energyexercise everyday.  Besides, for theendurance athletes, they even ought to recover their muscle power quickly afteran intense workout and exercise. As we know, the workload is the most importandfactor which influences the level of salary.Taking that into consideration, wecan never doubt that it's reasonal for them to earn such a high salary.
Moreover, because of their work's particularnature, those people must sacrifice their own privacy to the public just toattract the public’s attention. A good example comes from the entertainers suchas the actors. The modern media and the paparazzo being so developed, we canalways read the entertaining news or even rumors about actor's private life onthose magzines. Honestly speaking, I often feel angry with those interviewerswho make faked news about the actor's life. Like a annoying mosquito, thepaparazzos are always following and gazing at you to find chance to invadeothers’ privacy and to start a rumor. As a result of this, as a payback fortheir loss of privacy, the entertainers should be paid a high salary.
Last but not least, they are burdened witha high pressure. Those people's work is really fast-paced and high-pressured.They have to work harder and harder to avoid being kicked out from theirindustry. Actually, according to a survey several years ago, most of theentertainers have many serious sickness brought by the high pressure and theoverdrinking which is very common in their work.
However, reasonable as the high salary is,there're also some concerns in those high salary. For example, most scholars inbusiness management were afraid that giving those entertainers such a highsalary will encourage the students not to work hard in study but to run awayfrom school to become an actor in a very young age. And this, with no doubt,will do a lot of harm to both their future development and our society, becauseno one wants to do the common science research anymore. However, these badeffects are inferred on the hypothesis that there’s no education. In anotherword, we can avoid the bad influence through education. Hence, the reasons fora high salary are still more persuasive and stronger than that for a lowsalary.
From what I mentioned above, we can safelydraw the conclusion that those athletes and entertainers should get a top paid.No statment can demonstrate my perspective better than the following sayingcan. "Those who sow in tears will harvest with songs of joy." Theathelets and entainers have made more effort and more sacrifice than us. Whycan't they earn a higher salary than us?
