Guaranteed loan? (2) n/a
Maximum amount students can borrow: n/a

Average outstanding loans for 2003 graduates: $13,545

Is financial aid available for international students?
International students may qualify for a partial tuition merit-based scholarship through the Admissions Office. They will receive consideration for student loans if they have a U.S. resident or citizen as a co-signer. There are limited opportunities for student loans without a co-signer if an international student has lived in the U.S. for three or more years while establishing a U.S. credit history.

If I am unable to accept the offer of admission, may I defer my acceptance?
The Simon School is unable to defer the admission offer to a subsequent entry date. The applicant must re-activate their application for an upcoming admission cycle in order to receive consideration for admission. Re-activation may take place during the first year after an original offer of admission was made. Admission and scholarship offers are not guaranteed, therefore, timely submission of re-activation materials is suggested. For information on the re-activation process, please contact the M.B.A. Admissions Office at 585-275-3533 or email at mbaadm@simon.rochester.edu.

When must my tuition and services fees be paid?
Bills will be mailed to your Rochester address approximately one month after classes begin each quarter. Health and activities fees are also billed at that time.

What steps is the School taking to retain and improve its current standing among other graduate business programs?
As part of our commitment to remain competitive among the top business schools in the country, we have recently reconfigured the Simon School's first-year M.B.A. program. The required core courses have been redesigned to better deliver the fundamental building blocks of a graduate business education during the student's first year. In addition, students are now able to begin taking electives in the Winter quarter of their first year and complete a minimum of three elective courses prior to undertaking a Summer internship. The new curriculum underscores the integrative nature of business problems and ensures a comprehensive and cohesive introduction to the many diverse areas of business administration, as well as a significant advantage in the competitive career search process.

Tell me more about the cohort system.

Of the approximately 250 students in each full-time class, three fourths commence the program in September and one fourth in January. Each group of approximately 60 students is assigned to a "cohort" for the core curriculum, a pre-scheduled series of 9 required courses spread out over the first three quarters of the degree program. All core classes are taken with the cohort. No waivers for core classes for full-time students are allowed. Within the cohort, students are broken into study teams, with approximately 30% of assignments during the core classes assigned as team assignments. Grades during this period depend on successful performance of each team, a learn-by-doing approach to teamwork skill development.

Tell me about VISION and the Pre-term Program.
We have recently instituted a Pre-term Program created to orient students to M.B.A. academic life. Highlights of the Pre-term include self-assessment exercises designed to assist with career planning and personal goal-setting; and one-on-one career counseling opportunities. In addition, the program offers activities to hone selling techniques and critical business skills that are needed to master the Simon M.B.A. program. In addition, the students participate in several VISION modules designed to enhance leadership skills in the areas of team building, training in diversity issues, ethical decision-making and social responsibility. Completion of the VISION program and Pre-term activities is a requirement for graduation from the full-time program.

Tell me more about January admission.
January admission offers start-date flexibility for the full-time applicant. Upon entry in January, students are assigned student mentors to facilitate introduction to their September classmates and participation in student clubs. January students complete the same curriculum as those who begin in the Fall, by taking classes during the Summer quarter OR by interning during the Summer and taking additional classes during the remaining quarters of their second year of study. This allows completion of the M.B.A. degree in 18 months. The Simon School also offers a limited number of summer internships through the University of Rochester. This program allows some international students who join in January to gain internship experience in the U.S. with small start-up firms located in Rochester.

CAREER MANAGEMENT CENTER

Tell me about the Career Management Center.
Assistant Dean for Career Management, Lisa McGurn, leads a very experienced staff in directing the Rochester program. In addition to a growing on-campus recruiting program, interviews for Simon students are also held annually with New York City area companies every January at the Waldorf Astoria. As members of a multi-school Consortium, interviews are also available in Atlanta and New York City through jointly sponsored Fall and Winter interview programs, giving students access to many companies that would not normally visit campuses for interviewing. An intern recruiting event is held in New York City each January and will target top investment banks, consulting firms and brand management companies.

A professional career development program is integrated with the academic schedule to provide current information on the M.B.A. job search process. Outside speakers, career panels and alumni programs permit additional information gathering and professional networking opportunities. Video interviewing technology is among the new services that is made available to Simon students and employers to expand the world of job opportunities. Personal counseling and practice interviewing is provided. An international alumni database allows contact with Simon alumni worldwide. Students are able to get specific industry job search advice and mentoring.

What about Summer internships?
Over 90% of our students are successful in landing Summer internships. Students work for a variety of industries in locations nationwide and worldwide. Support for the Summer job search commences during the Pre-term in the Fall with a self-assessment and resume preparation. Since the demand for internships usually exceeds the supply nationwide, students are encouraged to devote the equivalent of one course each quarter to job search efforts.

Will my schedule allow me time to work outside of class while I'm enrolled in the full-time program?
The first year is extremely demanding. If it is necessary to work part-time, it is recommended that it be no more than 10 hours/week. The second year allows slightly more time for part-time employment. Some students work for Rochester-area companies on meaningful projects; others work on campus.

How would I locate part-time employment opportunities while I'm in Rochester?
Notify the Career Management Center of your situation. They will apprise you of any opportunities.

Are there opportunities to interact with business leaders outside of the job search?
There are many seminars and lectures open to all students by members of industry as well as visiting academics. The Max Farash Breakfast Series is one such opportunity. Sponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations and Development and underwritten by a contribution by Mr. Farash, a leading Rochester real estate developer, these informal breakfast lectures feature prominent members of the Rochester business community who speak on a variety of topics of interest to our students.

The Frederick Kalmbach Executive Seminar Series is sponsored by the Simon School through a gift from the Frederick Kalmbach Foundation and is managed by Simon M.B.A. students. Senior corporate executives from around the world come to the School to lecture on current issues in management.
In addition, graduates of the Simon School return to Rochester several times a year for alumni and other School-sponsored activities. Very often, these activities are also open to current students who welcome the chance to speak to graduates of the program who are now in the working world.

In what ways can I demonstrate leadership or make a contribution to the Simon community as a student?
The School's small size offers numerous opportunities for students to assume leadership roles. There are over 20 clubs, a student newspaper and a yearbook. There are clubs associated with an academic concentration and clubs which relate to a specific population within Simon as well as the Graduate Business Council which organizes extracurricular activities for all students.

During the first week of classes, presentations are made by the presidents of these clubs in an effort to generate interest and membership. Notices of meetings and activities are generally posted throughout Schlegel and Gleason Halls and placed in student mail folders. Broaden Your Horizons, a lunch time seminar series hosted by students from other countries, is very popular among our students. These intercultural seminars focus on the economics, cultures, politics and business protocols of the students' native countries. Traditional cuisine is served. Students also have an opportunity to participate in intramural sports, both on-campus and off-campus as representatives of the Simon School at tournaments hosted by other business schools.

In addition, students are selected for membership on certain faculty committees which determine policy in the M.B.A. programs. Students are asked to join administrative committees as well as to participate in focus groups on a variety of issues related to the M.B.A. program.

What kind of support is available for student teams?
During Pre-term, students are introduced to strategies for working in teams in sessions devoted to teamwork, time management, diversity, communication, and conflict resolution. The Coach-Mentor Program assists students throughout the first year. Coaches are second-year M.B.A. students who are assigned to first-year teams in order to provide perspective and guidance based on their own experience. They are specifically trained to detect problems and help devise solutions. The Director of Student Services offers on-going support to the coaches and is available to assist those first-year teams who are experiencing problems.

What if I am having academic trouble in the M.B.A. program?
The Simon School has made an investment in you by accepting you into the program and is committed to your success. We accept only those students who we feel can meet the rigors of our program. If admitted, we believe that you can achieve academic success in our M.B.A. program. Students who are experiencing academic difficulties should consult with the Director of Student Services as soon as they are aware that a problem exists. The Director will outline ways to improve performance, which may include tutoring services, time management/study skills, or supplemental instruction in mathematics, language or writing.
In addition, the Learning Assistance Services is an office within the University of Rochester which helps students with more specific barriers to learning and also assists with learning difficulties.

As an international student, are there services to help me acclimate to study in the U.S?
Before you even arrive in Rochester, the International Services Office (ISO) at the University of Rochester contacts you by mail with important information regarding plans to study at Simon. This office is able to answer any questions you might have about visa status, employment options, health information and travel in and out of the United States. International students have a special orientation prior to Pre-term to address specific questions and outline the programs and services offered by ISO and the University. During the next two years students are encouraged to utilize the expertise of this office. There may be certain limitations for international students due to visa restrictions, so it is imperative that students contact the ISO before making decisions about internships, employment, or travel.

An intensive English Language and U.S. Culture (ELUSC) program is offered during the Summer before the first year for international students. The classes are small in size and provide instruction in all language skill areas - speaking, listening, reading and writing. These types of skills are needed in the M.B.A. program - for listening to lectures, taking notes in formal and informal discussions, oral presentations, and writing assignments. Simon faculty, industry representatives and members of the Rochester community give presentations to the class. This is a five-week course that begins in early August and concludes before classes start in September. The cost of this course is approximately $3,500.

Are there any refresher courses for students who feel they need review prior to the start of classes? Before the official start of Pre-term in September, a mathematics review course is held. This is especially helpful for students who feel that their math skills need improvement. The instructor for the course will review basic algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus, with a focus on their application to the first year M.B.A. courses. There are fourteen hours of classes offered in early September and January. The cost for the course is $525.

HOUSING

Where do graduate business students live?
Approximately 30% live on campus in two locations: Goler House - high-rise efficiency apartments and University Park - townhouses (suitable for families) or Whipple Park. The remaining 70% live off-campus in close proximity to the campus. (Housing is readily available). Students may want to discuss off-campus neighborhoods. Additional information is available in the Student Handbook.

How much should be budgeted for housing? The average per person rental for both on-campus and off-campus options is $540 per month.

Who should I contact ?and when ?regarding Rochester housing?
Refer to the Housing Brochure sent to you with your acceptance letter. Students work directly with the Housing office. Also, request local newspapers for off-campus rental information after conferring with us for neighborhood recommendations.

Parking?
All graduate students are entitled to one parking space at their on-campus housing site. Parking permits for students commuting to the campus are offered on a first-come basis. Arrangements are made through University Parking at 585-275-3983.

<Jennifer_Admissions> Welcome JSuarez!

<Jennifer_Admissions> We have Career Management Staff on hand to answer any

<Harriette_Career> Changhua, in general our experience is that Chinese students have

excellent work experience. The one area that you will need to concentrate on is oral and

written communication...

<DavidTsui> also, I understand that the deposit of $1,500 is due by April 15. Will that deposit be forfeited if I decide not to attend later on?

<applicant18> I would like to know if is it possible to talk do admission office and try to

<Changhua> Harriette, it is ok to communicate for me after my 6 years' oversea, then what should be my strategy to select the right MBA courses in order to be competitive in job market?

<Angela_CareerCtr> Dear Bhagat, The CMC has implemented a new strategy for making outreach to corporate America.

<Guillermo> Angela, what is the school experience with international positions. Do you

succedd in placing the students with the top Investments Banks or the competition from

other schools is to large

<Angela_CareerCtr> With a recession our retention companies melted away, and we

need to rebuild this base.

<applicant18> Is it the campus wireless with internet access?

<Angela_CareerCtr> We are targeting a broadbase of companies, as noted by corporate

ranking systems.

<Jennifer_Admissions> 18, the Simon School is wireless.

<Angela_CareerCtr> We are using face-face visits, direct mailing campaigns, and

telephone campaigns to support this effort.

<applicant18> Total internet access ? What laptop do you recommend?

<Angela_CareerCtr> We are seeing an increase in postings, and interviews to support

final placement for students.

<Guillermo> So, you think that it will hard to get a job when I finish in 2005

<Jennifer_Admissions> David, regarding your deposit question, the deposit is not

refundable because it's credited toward your first quarter tuition.

<Harriette_Career> Changhua, course selection in the first quarter is done for you. After

that you have increasingly more latitude. Students research their preferred industries and

fields to identify the courses they should take.

<bhagat1> Dear Angela, how was the NYCRP this year

<Angela_CareerCtr> Guillermo and Applicant 18, The job market is picking up, with more companies seeking talent.

<Angela_CareerCtr> In a recent benchmarking initiative, we found that companies thought of Simon students as very talented.

jsuarez Quit (Web Browser left the chat web page)

<Changhua> Is there any service center in Simon which I can consult with and get detailed advice from on this issue?

<Angela_CareerCtr> To achieve this high praise, we work to ensure that our students are

able to present themselves in a 'polished' manner.

<Angela_CareerCtr> Changhua,

<Angela_CareerCtr> Once your deposits are paid to Simon, we do open up services to

assure you are preparing your job search plan.

<Angela_CareerCtr> We really pay attention to the saying "the early bird gets the worm"!!

<Angela_CareerCtr> For an MBA job search you should start now.

<Angela_CareerCtr> David, We are working to build our corporate interest in the West

Coast.

<Angela_CareerCtr> The historic data shows that only 5% of our students accept offers

on the West Coast.

<bhagat1> What advise do you have for career switchers, Engineering to Finance

<Angela_CareerCtr> But we one of our largest alumni pools on the West Coast.

Our new dean has some great contacts from his years at USC and Arizonia.

<Changhua> Angela, when can I get your admission, since I need to plan my job

             handover for my company?

<Angela_CareerCtr> Bhagat,

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Welcome Jin.     Today we have members of the Career

<Harriette_Career> Changhua, the counselors in the CMC teach students how to

6,0research industries and career fields, how to talk to alumni and professionals in their 6,0preferred fields to learn what they need.

<Angela_CareerCtr>

As an engineer, you will find it an easy transfer.

<jin> normally, when will be the internship for full time students? the first summer?

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Companies have a high interest due to your potential

mathematical expertise.

<jin> hi jennifer

<Harriette_Career>

6,0HEllo Jin.     Students who enter Simon in the fall search for

6,0internships in the following summer.

Henry has entered the room (hostname: 67.243.245.999)

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Welcome Henry!

<Jennifer_Admissions>

We have staff on hand from the Career Management

Center to answer any questions you may have.

<Henry> I use dial up here and it is very slow

<Henry> Hi, Jennifer, nice to see you here

<bhagat1> How did the current Simon Students fare at this years NYCPR and with

             their job/internship searches

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Henry, I understand how slow Dial-up can be.     Good to see

you as well.

<jin> thanks. i have question on that five week language class. i have been living in

             canada for five years. and traveled extensively to US and used to work in CA. i

             am talking to my clients all the time at work. although i am an international

             student. and i am sure the programe is helpful. but for me i donot think i can get a

             lot compare to staying at my job for antoher five weeks. can i pass that programe

             and come to campus in Sep

4 [msg continues in 22 secs]

<Henry> Is there any difference in the placement between MBA and MS. since I will

             be in MS program I want to know this.

<jin> t.? [msg complete]

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Bhagat, we had 19 companies participating at the 2004

NYRP.     Companies are finalizing offers as we speak.

<Guillermo> I have the same question as Henry regarding MS vs MBA. At least for

             the MS in Finance, you are supposed to already hold an MBA, so I guess the

             expected salary should be higher. What has been the experience with the MS

             graduates

<Guillermo> Also, where are the MS in Finance graduates working. I guess the

             information you have on the web page is about MBAs

<Henry> Hi, Guillermo, are you going to be in MS this fall too?

<Guillermo> Yes, I am planning to be a future MS

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Guillermo, Due to the small number of students represented

in the MS program, we do not publish information on their placement.     The data

numbers would represent the individual person so we do not publish the data.

<Henry> Great, I will join the MS finance in Sept.

<bhagat1> Hi Jennifer, do you know when the accepted student web site would be

             online for Class of 2006

<Henry> Jennifer, I did not get the access code to visit the accepted student web.

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Henry, we are still finalizing the site.     I hope to have the

password out tomorrow or Thursday at the latest.     Sorry for the delay.

<Guillermo> Angela, but do you know if most of them are working on Wall Street, Do

             they continued into the PhD in Finance program?

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Bhagat, the Accepted Student site should be ready by

tomorrow or the following day.     We will send an e-mail to you with the password.

Sorry for the delay.

<jin> the password for today's chatting window is not the one you are talking about

             right?

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Jin, no, that is actually a different password

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Guillermo, there is a great contact at Citigroup Global

Markets who may be able to give you advice on how to transition.     Contact me at

my Simon account for details.

<Jennifer_Admissions>

So, what other questions may we answer for you?

<Guillermo> Thanks Angela, I will do

<Changhua> Among the serviecs provided by Simon school, which one is the most

             useful to MBA students?

<Henry> How many students will be in the MS finance program this fall?

<Guillermo> Henry, here is my e-mail if you want to stay in touch:

12guillermo.rodriguez@baximports.com

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Henry, it's actually too early in the process to tell, but

generally we have between 10-15 MS students and most of them come from

finance but some are studying other areas as well

<Henry> Guillermo, here is mine

12hxq16[在] yahoo.com
, thanks

<DavidTsui> What would you say separates the Simon school's MBA from other

             MBA programs.     Simon has a strong finance program.     How do the students

             usually fair competing against other candidates who also want to work on Wall

             Street?

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Changhua, Each student has individual needs, and

therefore each student perceives 'most useful' differently.     One of the best

services is our ability to work with you individually to personalize service delivery.

<Angela_CareerCtr>

David,     Historically we have had a good success rate for

placement, but the numbers are low.     If you are interested in a career on Wall

Street, do as much reading as you can now.

<Henry> Are the professors accessible to students outside classrooms?

<Harriette_Career>

6,0Changhua, Angela is right.     And you will change - actually

6,0transofrm - during your two years with us.     Understandably, the services that you

6,0think are #1 will change over time.

<Jennifer_Admissions>

David, I think one area that is truly an asset at Simon is

our small size and our ability to give you one on one assistance from Admissions

through the job search.

<Henry> Angela, I don't quite understand your anwser regarding the placement

             numbers, you mean they are low for right now, or just for WS jobs?

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Henry: Professors each have office hours they designate

reserved for students

<Jennifer_Admissions>

But in addition, professors are always available in

impromptu ways, such as during student coffee hours, and others

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Henry, the percentage of students accepting Wall

Street/investment banking jobs from Simon is low, with a historical number

ranging to 10%

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Opportunities on Wall Street continue to be small in

number, and with consolidation that trend is continuing.

<Changhua> Harriette, generally, how much does an international student have to

             spend for the 1st year and the 2nd year of MBA at Simon?

<Henry> Angela, how about other sectors of jobs, e.g., asset management or

             trading?

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Henry, you will find the numbers for asset management

continue to increase, but the trend for trading jobs matches that of investment

banking.

Juan has entered the room (hostname: 200.31.29.999)

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Changhua, we generally estimate $33 thousand, per

year but the updated estimates will be released online soon

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Welcome Juan!

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Tonight we have staff from the Career Management

Center on hand to answer any questions you may have.

<Juan> Thank you, hello to everybody

<Henry> Are most placement in the North East?

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Henry, In 2003 we placed 57% of students in the Northeast

& MidAtlantic, 14% in the Midwest, 5% in the South, 6% in the West, and 18%

Abroad.

<Angela_CareerCtr>

This information is located in the placement report available

on-line.

<jin> any more question?

Internet connection having trouble.     Attempting to clear it up. Please wait

Signing on with nickname jin

Internet connection trouble has been cleared up

<Changhua> Is it common to get Visas endorsement from a third coutry since I am

             working oversea?

<Jennifer_Admissions>

In your admissions letter, you will find out if you are

required to take the English program.

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Welcome MNorm46

<mnorm46> Hi.

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Changhua, that is a question for our International

Student Office.     We will put you in contact with them shortly

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Juan: (TA/RA)Opportunities to have an assistantship of some sort are reserved for second year students because the first year is very intense.

<Jennifer_Admissions>

But, in the second year, students often take on graduate

assistantships or research assistantships.

<mnorm46> What is the next step I need to take to apply for student loans/financial

             aid.

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Norm, In your admissions packet, you should receive
information on forms to fill out should you be requesting loans.

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Are you from the US, NOrm?

<Juan> In the admission letter you talk of an ISO Booklet, where can I find it?

<mnorm46> Yes.     New Jersey.

<bhagat1> Jennifer and Angella thanks for all the information, go to run for now

             Thanks Bhagat

<Jennifer_Admissions>

It will be posted on the International Student office

website in mid-March, but it should be in your admissions packet

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Thanks Bhagat!     Have a good day

Norm, I would say to fill out the FAFSA form, which is

your preliminary form for financial aid and loans.     The university financial aid office

can help you with any questions.

<Changhua> Thanks, Jennifer! Bye!

<Jennifer_Admissions>

bye

<mnorm46> I'm actually interested in trying to land an internship before the first term.

             Who should I direct this question to?

Changhua Quit (Web Browser left the chat web page)

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Mike, aka Norm, what kind of functional position are you

seeking?

<DavidTsui> I am public accounting now and would like to switch to a career in

             investment management.     What companies/jobs should I target right after the

             MBA program?     What internships are available to Simon students in the past

             years?

<Angela_CareerCtr>

David, Many students sought opportunities in buyside firms.

There are several local companies that support internships, and we are working

on national accounts like Fidelity and T Rowe Price.

<DavidTsui> what is the success rate of students who are interested in working for

             buyside firms getting an internship with them?

<DavidTsui> any reading or preparation advice?

<Angela_CareerCtr>

David, Vault and WetFeet provide some great insights.

<DavidTsui> Also, would it be possible that you give me the names of the company

             so I can do some research on them?

<Angela_CareerCtr>

With the Simon Meliora Fund, David, you will be able to get

some great experience at Simon

<Angela_CareerCtr>

David, On WetFeet and Vault you will find listings of

buyside companies where you can begin your searching.

<DavidTsui> I would love to join the Fund but I thought only 20 members/students

             can actively participate

<Angela_CareerCtr>

David, There are a lot of analysts who research the firms,

but only a small number are on the actual decision team for the fund management.

<DavidTsui> How are the decision team members being picked?

<DavidTsui> I am also interest in the Simon Investment Club and the Consulting

             Club.     How many clubs does an average student participate in?

<Harriette_Career> David, most of the students I work with join at least one club, usually the ones that are most relevant to their careers.

<Harriette_Career>     Many students join 2 or more.     Joining one or two clubs allows you to take on a leadership role in one.     This is an important differentiator in the recruiting process.

<DavidTsui> Any recruiting trips to the West Coast?

<Angela_CareerCtr>

David, student clubs sponsor trips to different cities and locations.

<Angela_CareerCtr>

The school supports these efforts in a few ways, from

corporate contacts to limited monetary support.

<Angela_CareerCtr>

The HTML Club and Consulting Club continue to visit the

West Coast.     We also participate in the MBA Consortium Activities in LA

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Mike, hello....I would be pleased to give you some ideas.

<mnorm46> Post-grad I'd like to get into banking.     I'm currently in operations so

             anything that would help me make the transition over the next two years.

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Mike, are you thinking IB?

<mnorm46> Yes

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Mike, there are some local firms that offer internships, but

you will find it difficult to manage your first two quarters and do an internship.

<mnorm46> I was thinking over the summer like your trad. intern.     Trying to get a

             head start.

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Also do a google search to find listings.

<Angela_CareerCtr>

Mike, it might be tough.     You probably through your

personal contacts you could get a non-paid internship.

<mnorm46> Thanks everybody.     Talk to you soon.

<Jennifer_Admissions> FIVE MINUTE WARNING...

<Jennifer_Admissions> There are 5 minutes left in the chat, so please get your last-minute

questions ready

<DavidTsui> Are there any recruiting trips sponsored by the Simon school?

<Juan> In the case of an international student, you would suggest him to be in Rochester

before the MBA begins? An if that it's the case, doing what?

<DavidTsui> Any recruiting trips to the West Coast?

<Angela_CareerCtr> David, student clubs sponsor trips to different cities and locations.

<Angela_CareerCtr> The school supports these efforts in a few ways, from corporate

contacts to limited monetary support.

<Jennifer_Admissions> Juan: Depending on whether or not you have been

required/recommended to attend the English Language program, that will likely be the

largest factor on when you arrive in Rochester

<Angela_CareerCtr> The HTML Club and Consulting Club continue to visit the West

Coast. We also participate in the MBA Consortium Activities in LA

<Juan> Ok thank you for all your answers, goodbye to everybody

<Jennifer_Admissions> The international orientation takes place on September 7 with

other workshops following prior to the official start of pre-term.

<DavidTsui> Thank you for all your help.     I look forward to meeting all of you in late

             March.

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Thanks David!     We look forward to it too

<Jennifer_Admissions>

Good bye Juan...thanks for coming

<DavidTsui> Is there an onsite Simon souvenir store?

<DavidTsui> want to buy a Simon sweater

Just back from its online chat!

Currently, Simon MBAs went to more Corporate Finance than Banks. As for which kind of banking Simon emphasis more, i think of course IB. (AS most of other B-schools...)     Traditionally, IB need more MBA type of persons than CB does.
