因为是工科背景，数学的课程都是那些，微积分，代几，概率与统计

计算机课程我修的蛮多的，因为喜欢计算机和编程

恩，我猜你是机械学院的吧，你上过随机没？不过如果其他数学成绩好的话这方便不是太大问题。

但是我比较关心的是你的自由交易经历，因为算是自由职业者，在ps上不太好说。另外国内的市场和国外太不一样了，在我的印象里基本不需要quant，这在你的ps里也是个很大的问题。个人感觉你需要多突出投资公司的经历。不过总体来说我觉得比较有希望，但是建议你要想清楚career path的问题，因为读出来后可能会与你的期望有落差

作自由职业者也是无奈之选阿，当时离职的时候很多人都说很可惜，但是毕竟工资跟那个收入差了将近一个数量级，财迷心窍了。。。。

就说MFE里强人扎堆，LZ又是一巨牛。

感觉LZ各方面都Overqualify  CMU的MFE。如果不嫌弃CMU的话就申请吧！别想太多，男女比例不是问题

以前听说进top10的都是gmat动不动就750以上，而且偏好数学或者物理专业的，很受打击

今天受了点鼓舞，决定还是要申请了

Overqualify CMU? Do you know how well the placement in CMU's MSCF? 工科背景 is much better than business background and your W/E is highly related and strong...Although yout GMAT is below expectation, you have a chance..I remember that there is a post about CMU's students profile, you can find that you are in strong compentence in that post....

I won't apply for CMU cause only 2 应届 was admitted though my internship is as same strong as theirs....BTW your 工科背景 does help! And be aware of Jan 4 is the second deadline...

Berkeley 2011spring的申请还没开始吧，楼主非要2010fall出去么？另外我还是觉得想去的就都申吧，你总不能把自己的前途放到论坛上一群你不熟悉的人的手里，你怎么知道我们说的是对还是错呢是吧，所以都申了呗～

另外很关心LZ的“自由交易员”是啥？呵呵
