Never hide the truth. If you go and take a look at Rose Report (chicago), the admissions blog, you will see Booth actually admit many ppl who are laid off or even fired. Don't view this setback as a negative thing. Think about what you learned thru this experience. You understood that a narrow-scope career at such B4 is risky, as it limited your capacity or put you at risk in downturing periods. Or you view this setback as an opportunity. During the break you took exams and demonstrated academic excellence again. In the process, you also reflected career progress, and determined to pursue an MBA program, as you anticipate a greater role to play after MBA, after the crisis. Don't hide.
